Training along the Punggol Waterway
The Waterway is the reason outdoor training works so well here. Long uninterrupted stretches make it straightforward to build running capacity, and the bridges and open lawns give a coach somewhere to run strength and conditioning circuits without booking anything. Early mornings and after sunset are the sensible windows — the exposure that makes it pleasant at 7am makes it punishing at noon.
Block gyms, condo gyms and living rooms
Punggol's newer developments tend to have usable gyms — enough dumbbells and a cable station to run a complete strength programme for years. Where the gym is basic or busy, your trainer brings adjustable weights, bands and a mat and works in your unit instead. For families, that's usually the deciding factor: a session can happen during a nap without anyone leaving the flat.
Who we train in Punggol
Mostly parents in their thirties fitting training around young children, and shift workers who need a coach who can do 6am or 9pm rather than only peak hours. Fat loss and general strength are the common goals, with a steady stream of postnatal clients rebuilding after a birth.
