Getting started

How do I get started?+

Message us on WhatsApp, or leave your name and number in the form on any page, with your goal, rough schedule, location and any injuries. We reply with a free consultation slot, usually within the hour between 6am and 10pm. After the consult we match you to a coach by goal and body, you see their profile and published rate, and you decide.

Is the first consultation really free?+

Yes. The consultation and fitness assessment are free and carry no obligation. You only pay once you choose a session or a pack. If you want to try the match before committing, the trial session is 10% off that trainer's first-session rate, and the re-match or refund guarantee covers your first paid session.

How quickly can I start training?+

Most clients are matched and training within the same week. The limit is coach availability for your slot and area, not our process: 6am to 8am and after 7.30pm on weekdays are the slots that fill first, so give us two or three windows and we can usually place you faster.

Do you have a gym? Where is it?+

No. Fit Titans has no gym or studio, which is why there is no membership. Sessions happen at your home, your condo gym, a park or void deck near you, or a venue you already have access to. An empty living room is enough to start, because early sessions are bodyweight work. If you want loaded work and own nothing, tell us and we match you to a coach who carries kit.

Sessions & logistics

Where do the sessions happen?+

Wherever suits you across Singapore: your home, your condo gym, an outdoor space such as a park connector or the void deck, or a gym you already use where outside coaches are allowed. Tell us the venue in your first message and we match a coach who lists that area and that setting on their profile.

Do I need my own equipment?+

No. Some trainers carry resistance bands, adjustable dumbbells or kettlebells and a mat, and some do not, so we ask yours what they bring and tell you before you book. If your condo gym has a cable station, a bench and dumbbells, your coach builds sessions around those instead. A 3m by 3m clear patch of floor is enough for a full session at home.

Can I train with a partner?+

Yes. Buddy sessions (1-to-2) and small groups of 3 to 6 are priced per person and are the cheapest way to train with a coach. Rates start from S$45 per person per session and are set by each trainer. Partners at different fitness levels are normal; the coach scales the same movement for each of you.

Is the price per person for a couple?+

Yes. Semi-private rates on a coach's profile are per person per session, and they are lower than that coach's 1-to-1 rate. A common pattern on the roster is S$90 for 1-to-1 and S$65 per person for a pair, so a couple pays S$130 for the hour rather than twice the solo rate. We confirm the exact figure before you book.

How long is a session?+

Sessions are 60 minutes, including the warm-up and cool-down. For seniors, rehab work or a lunchtime slot in the CBD a focused 45-minute session sometimes works better; tell us and we price it accordingly. Packs are counted in sessions, not hours, so a shorter session still counts as one.

What does the trainer actually bring?+

Whatever your space is missing: resistance bands, adjustable weights and a mat as standard, plus small items for your programme such as a step, sliders or a skipping rope. If your condo gym already has racks, machines or dumbbells to 30kg, your coach uses those and brings only what fills the gaps.

How often should I train?+

Twice a week suits most goals and is what we recommend to start. Once a week works if you train on your own in between and the coach sets that homework. Three or more sessions a week makes sense for IPPT prep, a wedding or holiday deadline, or a post-injury block. We advise honestly at the free consult.

What if I need to reschedule?+

Give your trainer 24 hours' notice and the session moves at no charge. Inside 24 hours it is chargeable, because your coach has already set the time aside and travelled to you. Genuine emergencies and illness are handled case by case; message the coach and us as early as you can.

Can I train before 7am or after 9pm?+

Yes, within our 6am to 10pm hours. Several coaches list 6am starts for people who train before work, and weekday slots after 7.30pm exist but are the first to fill. Shift workers with rotating days off should tell us the pattern; we match a coach whose week has room for it.

Can a Fit Titans coach train me at ActiveSG, Anytime Fitness or a gym pod?+

Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly. Commercial chains usually restrict outside trainers, and public gyms have their own rules on coaching, so check the house rules first. Bookable gym pods and your condo gym are usually straightforward. If your gym says no, your home, a park or the void deck are the reliable fallbacks.

Do you offer online sessions?+

Some coaches list online or virtual coaching on their profile, usually for clients who travel or want a check-in between in-person sessions. Most of our work is in person because form correction and loading are easier face to face. Ask when you message and we match accordingly.

Matching, trainers & safety

How do you match me with a trainer?+

By your goal, your body and your constraints, not by who is free. We look at what each coach lists on their own profile: specialties such as fat loss, prenatal, rehab or seniors, the areas they cover, the settings they train in and the hours they keep. You see the match and their published rate before anything is booked.

Are the trainers qualified?+

Every trainer lists their qualifications on their profile so you can see what they hold rather than take our word for it. NCSF is the most common; ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM, WSQ and sports-science degrees also appear. We verify certifications against the issuing body and check references before a coach takes clients.

Can I request a female trainer?+

Yes. Many clients prefer a female coach, especially for prenatal, postnatal or women-only training, and we match accordingly. Say the preference in your first message and give us more than one time window so we can place you, and we will tell you who is free rather than promise first and check later.

Can I ask for a coach who speaks Mandarin, Malay or Tamil, or is a certain age?+

Tell us. Coaches do not list languages on their profiles, so we ask on your behalf and match where the roster allows. If we cannot meet a preference in your area we say so rather than send the wrong person. The same goes for a coach's age, gender or experience with a specific condition.

Do you cover injuries and rehab?+

Yes, within your doctor's or physiotherapist's clearance. Tell us the diagnosis in your first message, whether that is a slipped disc, a rotator cuff tear, an ACL repair or ongoing knee pain, so we match a coach who lists rehab or corrective work and has trained around it before. A coach is not a substitute for physio.

Can you train my elderly parents?+

Yes. Sessions for parents in their 70s and 80s focus on sit-to-stand strength, balance, stairs and grip, at their home or condo gym, with a coach who is patient and briefed on falls, medications and any heart or joint conditions. An adult child can book, pay and receive the updates on their behalf.

Can you train my teenager?+

That age floor is our own policy rather than a rule anyone else sets. Yes, from about 12 years old, with a parent's consent and usually a parent at home for the sessions. The first goal is technique with bodyweight and light dumbbells, then posture, sport or IPPT prep for 16 and 17 year olds heading to NS. Tell us any preference on the coach's gender or age.

Can one coach train my whole family?+

Yes. A small group of 3 to 6 is priced per person and run as stations, so a father working on fat loss, a teen building muscle and a mother building strength can share one hour in one small condo gym. The coach scales each movement to each person and sets separate homework.

Pricing & guarantee

What does it cost?+

Each trainer sets their own 1-to-1 rate. Most sessions are S$80-S$130; the full roster runs S$45-S$210. Buddy and small-group start from S$45 per person. Packs of 10, 15 or 20 sessions take 5%, 10% or 15% off that trainer's rate. We confirm the exact figure before you book.

Why do rates range from S$45 to S$210?+

Experience, specialisation and demand. A coach with a prenatal, rehab or seniors certification and ten years of clients charges more than a newly certified coach building a client base. A lower rate is not a warning sign; it usually means less experience or a coach with open slots. Read the profile, and remember the re-match or refund guarantee applies at every price.

Does the price include the trainer's travel?+

Usually yes, within the areas a coach lists on their profile. A few coaches add a travel fee beyond a stated radius, and where a session needs a paid venue such as a public gym entry, that cost is passed on. Anything like this is shown on the profile and agreed before you book, never added afterwards.

What is included besides the session itself?+

A programme built for you, homework between sessions, progress tracking, WhatsApp check-ins with your coach within reason, and general nutrition guidance within a trainer's scope. Not included: physiotherapy, medical advice or a dietitian's meal plan; we refer you to the right professional instead. The re-match or refund guarantee covers your first paid session.

What is your cancellation policy?+

Give your trainer 24 hours' notice and the session moves at no charge. Inside 24 hours it is chargeable, since your coach has already set the time aside and travelled to you. Genuine emergencies and illness we handle case by case.

Do my sessions expire?+

No. Sessions you have paid for stay yours. There is no expiry date and no use-it-or-lose-it deadline, which is deliberately different from most gyms and studios. If you travel, get injured or have a baby, your remaining sessions wait for you until you are ready.

How do I pay?+

PayNow. We invoice before a pack starts, so there is no card on file, no recurring billing and no automatic renewal. When a pack runs out you decide whether to buy another. Couples and families can pay on one invoice or separately, whichever is easier.

Am I locked into a contract?+

No. There is no membership, no minimum term and no notice period. You buy a pack of sessions, and when it is finished you decide whether to continue, switch coach or stop. Nothing renews on its own.

What is the satisfaction guarantee?+

Tell us within 7 days of your first paid session with a trainer and we will re-match you or refund that session in full. Once per client, and you do not have to justify the decision. It exists so that trying a coach carries no financial risk.
