What does a 12-week transformation programme cost in Singapore?
Few providers publish a 12-week price. Most sell sessions, and the 12 weeks are a frame around them. The table shows the published figure for each, read on 11 October 2026. Where a provider prints no price, we quote dated press coverage and say so, and where there is none, the row says not published.
| Provider | What is published | Cost of 12 weeks |
|---|---|---|
| UFIT | 12-week Ignition programme S$5,350 and 8-week Foundation S$3,550, as reported by Time Out Singapore on 21 Jan 2026. Its own site lists the programmes without prices | S$5,350 for the 12-week programme, which bundles weekly PT sessions, a VO2 max test, screening, nutrition consultations and unlimited classes |
| Ultimate Performance | No price. Its Singapore pages say pricing is "personalised". Expat Living reported an introductory offer of four sessions for S$995, open to bookings from 20 April to 15 May 2026 | Not published |
| Fitness First | "Transform Yourself In 12 Weeks" headline, priced per session from S$76 (Value), S$98 (Freedom) and S$112 (Freedom+), GST included. Membership required, from S$200 a month on a minimum term of 4 months | From S$1,824 for 24 sessions, plus at least S$800 of membership |
| Virgin Active | Personal training from S$117 a session; a 3-session trial pack from S$55 a session. Membership terms are not stated on the PT page | From S$2,808 for 24 sessions |
| PersonalTrainer.sg | 36-session "Transformation" package at S$116 a session; 24-session package at S$126; a starter promotional rate of S$96 a session with a 12-session minimum | S$3,024 for 24 or S$4,176 for 36 at the package rates |
| Genesis Gym | S$60 to S$100 a session, sold in blocks of 10 or more | S$1,440 to S$2,400 for 24 sessions |
| Fit Titans coach | Each coach's own rate, typically S$80 to S$130. Packs of 10, 15 or 20 take 5, 10 or 15% off | S$1,680 to S$2,730 for 24 sessions; S$2,520 to S$4,095 for 36 |
Fit Titans publishes this page and is one of the rows. The rows are not like for like. UFIT's figure includes classes, a fitness test and nutrition consultations; a gym's per-session price may need a membership on top; a mobile coach trains you at home or in your condo gym, where the venue costs nothing. Compare the price of a coached hour first, then add what you would actually use.
What do the same 12 weeks cost with an independent coach?
At Fit Titans there is no fixed 12-week package. You pick a coach, the coach sets their own rate, and packs of 10, 15 or 20 sessions take 5, 10 or 15% off it. Bought the cheapest way, 12 weeks costs this much before the first-session discount:
| Sessions a week | Sessions in 12 weeks | How it is bought | At S$80 | At S$90 | At S$130 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 | A 10-session pack plus 2 sessions | S$920 | S$1,035 | S$1,495 |
| 2 | 24 | A 20-session pack plus 4 sessions | S$1,680 | S$1,890 | S$2,730 |
| 3 | 36 | A 20-session pack, a 15-session pack and 1 session | S$2,520 | S$2,835 | S$4,095 |
Rates across the roster run S$50 to S$210, so a block can cost less or more than the table. The first paid session with any coach is a trial at 10% off their rate. Training in your home or condo gym adds nothing; a private Gym Pod for barbell work is paid separately at its published rate, about S$12 to S$24 an hour. Two coached sessions a week plus one on your own is one way to train three times for the price of two. Not the right fit after your first paid session? Tell us within 7 days and we re-match you with another coach, once per client.
What is actually inside a transformation package?
Strip the branding off and most packages are the same five parts. Price each one before you compare totals:
- Coached sessions: the number that matters. Divide the package price by the sessions in it to get the cost of a coached hour.
- Assessment and scans: a body-composition scan at the start and end. Useful, though a tape measure and a strength log tell you much of the same story.
- Nutrition: anything from a handout to scheduled consultations. Ask who gives it and what qualification they hold.
- Gym access: included at a studio, a membership on top at a chain, nothing needed at home or in a condo gym.
- Classes and app access: extras. Valuable only if you would use them.
How much can change in 12 weeks?
Less than the advertising suggests, and still a lot. These are the evidence-based ceilings, not a promise:
| Goal | Realistic in 12 weeks | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Weight loss | At most 6 to 12 kg, at not more than 0.5 to 1 kg a week | HealthHub; NHS |
| Muscle gain | About 1.5 kg of lean mass over programmes averaging roughly 10 weeks (studies in men) | Benito et al. 2020, 111 studies |
| Losing fat and gaining muscle together | Lean mass up 1.4 kg and fat down 1.8 kg in 10 weeks of resistance training | Westcott 2012 |
| Women | Muscle and lower-body strength respond to training at similar rates to men | Roberts et al. 2020 |
Two things follow. First, a programme that promises 4 or 5 kg in a month is promising more than HealthHub advises for a safe rate of loss. Second, exercise alone moves the scale slowly: the American College of Sports Medicine found, in its 2009 position stand, that 150 to 250 minutes of activity a week gives "only modest weight loss", and that resistance training "does not enhance weight loss but may increase fat-free mass". Most of a 12-week weight change comes from food; the training decides how much of the loss is fat and how much is muscle. Week-by-week timelines for each goal are in how many sessions it takes to see results.
How often should you train during those 12 weeks?
Two or three strength sessions a week. That is the American College of Sports Medicine's recommendation for beginners, and its definition of a beginner includes anyone who has "not trained for several years". Singapore's Physical Activity Guidelines add 150 to 300 minutes of moderate activity a week, such as brisk walking, on top. One coached session a week can work for someone who will do a second session alone; for most people starting from scratch, two coached sessions are the difference between learning the lifts and guessing at them.
- Weeks 1 to 4: learn the main lifts, set a starting weight for each, and get the daily habits in place.
- Weeks 5 to 8: add load or reps every week, and adjust food to the trend in your weight and waist.
- Weeks 9 to 12: keep progressing, then retest the start-of-block measures under the same conditions.
That three-phase shape is how our coaches typically run a 12-week block. It is coaching practice, not a research finding.
How much protein does a transformation need?
More than the baseline guidance for adults, less than supplement adverts suggest. HealthHub's general figure is 0.8 g of protein per kg of body weight a day for adults up to 49, and 1.2 g for those 50 and over. For people training to build muscle, the International Society of Sports Nutrition puts the range at 1.4 to 2.0 g per kg. A 2018 meta-analysis found no further muscle gain from protein beyond about 1.6 g per kg a day. For a 70 kg adult, that is roughly 100 to 140 g a day, which ordinary meals can reach with a protein source at each one. A coach can set a target; a medical diet, pregnancy or kidney disease is a question for a dietitian or doctor.
How should you read before-and-after photos?
As advertising. The UK's advertising regulator treats before-and-after photos as claims about what a product does, and says they "should not exaggerate" its effect. Ask how long the change took, how often the person trained, and whether they were already fit. We do not publish client transformations yet, and our results page explains why. Track your own change with the same measures at the start and the end instead: body weight, waist, the weight on two or three main lifts, and photos taken at the same time of day in the same place.
What should you ask before signing a 12-week package?
- What is the price per coached session, once the package is divided out?
- Is a gym membership needed on top, and for how long?
- What happens to sessions you miss, and can the package be frozen or extended?
- Who is the coach, what certification do they hold, and can you change coach?
- Who gives the nutrition advice, and what is their qualification?
- Does the promised result fit HealthHub's 0.5 to 1 kg a week?
- What is the refund or re-match policy if it does not work out?
How does a 12-week block work with Fit Titans?
You tell us the goal, the date and how many sessions a week you can keep up. We send you a shortlist of trainers with their rates. You pick one, book the first session at 10% off, and buy a pack once you know the fit is right. Sessions happen at your home, your condo gym or a park nearby, so the 12 weeks have no membership attached.
Coaches whose own profiles lead with this kind of work, with rates as published on 11 October 2026: Rita, a fat loss and transformation coach with ISSA and a sports science qualification, at S$90; Will, an ACE Nutrition Specialist with a sports science qualification, from S$100; Ben, a muscle building and fat loss coach, at S$90; and Valen, a body recomposition coach, at S$210. Every coach's rate is on our pricing page, and the wider price picture is in the personal trainer cost guide.
