Everyone quotes a per-session rate and nobody tells you what the month adds up to. This page does the sums for the typical S$80-S$130 band and for the cheapest and dearest coaches on the roster, then shows exactly how a pack changes the number.

TL;DR

At the typical S$80-S$130 a session, twice a week (8 sessions) is S$640-S$1,040 a month at drop-in prices. Once a week is S$320-S$520; three times is S$960-S$1,560. Packs of 10, 15 or 20 take 5%, 10% or 15% off that coach's rate, so the same 8 sessions on a 20-pack fall to S$544-S$884. Buddy training starts from S$45 per person. You pay by PayNow before a pack starts and the sessions never expire.

Key facts

  • Typical 1-to-1 rate is S$80-S$130 a session; the full roster runs S$45-S$210
  • Twice a week at the typical band is S$640-S$1,040 a month before any pack
  • A 20-session pack at 15% off turns S$130 into S$110.50 a session
  • Buddy and small-group sessions start from S$45 per person
  • PayNow, invoiced before a pack starts, no expiry, no card on file
  • Re-match or refund within 7 days of the first paid session, once per client

How much does a personal trainer cost per month in Singapore?

For most people the answer is S$640-S$1,040 a month: that is 8 sessions at the typical S$80-S$130 1-to-1 rate, which is what twice a week comes to over four weeks. Once a week is S$320-S$520 and three times a week is S$960-S$1,560. Those are drop-in figures before a pack discount and before you split a session with a partner.

The band is real but it is not a quote. Each Fit Titans coach sets their own rate and publishes it on their profile, so the number you budget with should be that coach's number. The cost guide explains the wider market; this page is only about turning a session rate into a monthly figure you can sustain.

What does 1x, 2x and 3x a week cost per month?

Use 4, 8 and 12 sessions for one, two and three sessions a week. A calendar month is closer to 4.3 weeks, so over a year you will fit in a few more sessions than this table shows, but 4/8/12 is the honest planning number. The four rate columns are the low and high of the typical band and the cheapest and dearest published 1-to-1 rates on the roster in August 2026.

Monthly cost at drop-in rates (sessions x rate, no pack discount)
FrequencySessions / monthAt S$80At S$130At S$45 (roster floor)At S$210 (roster ceiling)
1x / week4S$320S$520S$180S$840
2x / week8S$640S$1,040S$360S$1,680
3x / week12S$960S$1,560S$540S$2,520

The S$45 and S$210 columns exist so you see the whole spread, not because either is where most people land. The median session on the roster was S$90 when we measured it. If you want to know why one coach charges S$45 and another S$210, that is a separate question with its own page: why personal trainer rates differ.

How do packs of 10, 15 and 20 change the monthly figure?

A 10-session pack takes 5% off your coach's rate, a 15-pack takes 10% and a 20-pack takes 15%. The discount applies to the per-session price, so the pack price is simply the discounted rate multiplied by the number of sessions. The working below uses the two ends of the typical band; swap in your coach's rate and the same three percentages apply.

Pack maths at S$80 and S$130 a session
PackDiscountPer session at S$80Pack total at S$80Per session at S$130Pack total at S$130
Drop-in0%S$80-S$130-
10 sessions5%S$80 x 0.95 = S$76S$760S$130 x 0.95 = S$123.50S$1,235
15 sessions10%S$80 x 0.90 = S$72S$1,080S$130 x 0.90 = S$117S$1,755
20 sessions15%S$80 x 0.85 = S$68S$1,360S$130 x 0.85 = S$110.50S$2,210

Two things follow from that table. First, the monthly figure at twice a week (8 sessions) becomes S$608 on a 10-pack, S$576 on a 15-pack and S$544 on a 20-pack at the S$80 rate, and S$988, S$936 and S$884 at S$130. Second, a pack lasts longer than a month: at twice a week a 10-pack covers 5 weeks, a 15-pack about 7 and a half weeks and a 20-pack 10 weeks. You are paying for the pack up front, so the cash leaving your account in the first month is the pack total, not the monthly average.

  • 10-pack at 2x a week: 5 weeks of training, then decide again.
  • 15-pack at 2x a week: about 7 and a half weeks, roughly the point where visible change starts.
  • 20-pack at 2x a week: 10 weeks, the largest discount and the longest commitment.
  • Trial session: 10% off your coach's first session, so you can test the match before buying any pack.

What does a month cost if you train with a partner?

Buddy and small-group sessions start from S$45 per person, with the per-head rate set by your coach and confirmed before you book. At that floor, twice a week is 8 x S$45 = S$360 a month each. If your coach's per-head rate is S$60, the same 8 sessions are S$480 each. Two people in one condo gym or one HDB living room is the single biggest saving in personal training; the trade-offs and when to stay 1-to-1 are in the buddy training guide.

How does that compare with a gym membership plus occasional PT?

A gym membership is cheaper per month than eight coached sessions, and empty if you stop going. The honest comparison is not membership versus coaching but what you actually pay for a year of training you keep doing. Check four things on any membership quote: the monthly fee, the joining or admin fee, the lock-in term, and whether in-gym personal training is billed on top of the membership. In-gym PT usually is, so a member who adds a coach pays twice. A mobile coach comes to your home, condo gym, void deck or a park, so the venue cost is usually zero. If you prefer a public gym, ActiveSG gym entry is S$2.50 a visit for citizens and permanent residents on the current rate card, which is small enough to ignore in the monthly sum. The fuller comparison is in personal trainer vs gym.

How do you decide what frequency you can sustain?

Pick the frequency you can still afford in month four, not the one that feels motivating in week one. Twice a week suits most goals and is what we recommend to start. Once a week works if you will do a second session on your own, which costs nothing. Three makes sense for a deadline such as an IPPT window, then drops back. The frequency logic is in how often you should see a personal trainer; here is the budgeting version.

  • Set a monthly ceiling first, then divide by your coach's pack rate to get sessions a month. S$600 at S$76 a session (10-pack at S$80) is about 8 sessions.
  • Count the self-directed sessions. One coached plus one homework session a week halves the bill against two coached, and still moves you.
  • Match the pack to the goal length. An 8-12 week fat-loss or strength block fits a 15-pack or 20-pack at twice a week; a short IPPT push fits a 10-pack at three a week.
  • Start with the smallest pack if you are new to coaching. The 15% on a 20-pack is not worth it if you are not sure you will use 20 sessions, even though they never expire.
  • Split it if you can. A partner at the same level and schedule changes the whole calculation.

How do you pay, and do sessions expire?

You pay by PayNow. We invoice before a pack starts, so there is no card on file, no recurring billing and no automatic renewal: when a pack runs out you decide whether to buy another. Paid sessions do not expire, so if you travel, fall ill or get busy at work the remaining sessions wait for you. Give your coach 24 hours' notice to move a session at no charge; inside 24 hours it is chargeable because the coach has set the time aside and travelled to you.

The first consultation and assessment are free. If the first paid session is the wrong fit, tell us within 7 days and we re-match you or refund that session in full, once per client, no justification needed. That is the safety net under every figure on this page. Live rates per coach are on /pricing.

Frequently asked

How much is personal training twice a week in Singapore?

At the typical S$80-S$130 a session, twice a week is 8 sessions and S$640-S$1,040 a month at drop-in prices. On a 20-pack at 15% off the same 8 sessions are S$544-S$884. Your coach's published rate decides which end you sit at, and we confirm it before you book.

Is a 20-session pack worth it?

It gives the largest discount, 15% off your coach's rate, and at twice a week it covers 10 weeks, which matches an 8-12 week training block. Sessions never expire, so the only real cost is paying more up front. If you are unsure you will use 20, start with a 10-pack at 5% off.

How much does a month cost with the cheapest coach on the roster?

The lowest published 1-to-1 rate was S$45 a session in August 2026. Twice a week at that rate is S$360 a month before a pack. The roster moves, so check the live list on the pricing page, and read why rates differ before choosing on price alone.

Do I pay monthly or per pack?

Per pack, by PayNow, invoiced before the pack starts. There is no monthly subscription, no card on file and no auto-renewal. A 10-pack at twice a week lasts about 5 weeks, so the cash you pay in month one is the pack total rather than a monthly average.

Can I pay for one session at a time?

Yes. Single sessions are at your coach's drop-in rate, and the trial session is 10% off that coach's first session. Packs are optional; they only change the per-session price. Many people do a trial, then a 10-pack, then decide whether a bigger pack is worth it.
